Tochigi leather is world-renowned for its traditional pit-tanning process. Unlike modern chemical tanning, this method uses organic tannins from vegetable extracts and takes several weeks. The result is a durable, breathable leather that develops a deep, beautiful patina over time.

Are your backpacks made of real leather?

Yes. We use 100% genuine cowhide and premium Tochigi leather. We intentionally avoid synthetic alternatives to ensure every piece is an investment that lasts for decades.

How do I care for my leather backpack?

A soft, dry cloth is usually all you need for daily cleaning. For long-term care, we recommend a high-quality leather conditioner every few months. Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain; if it does get wet, let it air dry naturally away from direct heat.

Shipping & Returns

How long will it take to receive my order?

Each piece is shipped directly from our partners in Asia to ensure authenticity and quality. Delivery typically takes 14 to 21 days, though many orders arrive sooner. We provide full tracking information so you can follow your backpack’s journey from the workshop to your door.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns on unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Because leather is a natural material, slight variations in grain or texture are signatures of authenticity. Please contact our support team to initiate a return.
