Our Story: From Nagoya to Philadelphia

A Legacy of Excellence Murase Kabanko is a century-old Japanese workshop, synonymous with Randoseru excellence for four generations. Based in Nagoya, Japan, their master artisans are revered for creating "heirloom quality" pieces that are as much a work of art as they are a functional tool. Each bag is the result of a rigorous 300-step assembly process, combining traditional heritage with contemporary style.

The Philadelphia Connection Zen Quality Backpacks, founded by Andrew Brenner, was born from a desire to bring this architectural precision and minimalist intent to the United States. After discovering the legendary Murase Kabanko workshop through a New York Times feature, Andrew recognized a shared commitment to durability and craft.

Today, we are the exclusive US partner for these iconic silhouettes. Whether it’s a child’s first-grade journey or a professional’s boardroom career, we believe the tools you carry should tell a story of quality that lasts a lifetime.
